چکیده
The current research determines the most recent developments in natural fibres reinforced polylactic acid composites. Polylactic (PLA) is derived from renewable resources and capable of degrading microorganisms, eliminating pollution caused by petrochemical-based plastic. PLA promising biodegradable material among polymers since it easily attacked bacteria decomposes easily, releasing H2O, CO2, humus, black found soil. a thermoplastic polymer that widely used production plastic bags, large planting cups, paper coating, fibres, films, packaging, as matrix This review also discussed physical mechanical properties several fibre Several have been to reinforce reinforcement for composites field composite manufacturing.

New Polylactic Acid Composites Reinforced with Artichoke Fibers
In this work, artichoke fibers were used for the first time to prepare poly(lactic acid) (PLA)-based biocomposites. In particular, two PLA/artichoke composites with the same fiber loading (10% w/w) were prepared by the film-stacking method: the first one (UNID) reinforced with unidirectional long artichoke fibers, the second one (RANDOM) reinforced by randomly-oriented long artichoke fibers. Bo...
متن کاملDevelopment and Characterization of Polymer Eco-Composites Based on Natural Rubber Reinforced with Natural Fibers
Natural rubber composites filled with short natural fibers (flax and sawdust) were prepared by blending procedure and the elastomer cross-linking was carried out using benzoyl peroxide. The microbial degradation of composites was carried out by incubating with Aspergillus niger recognized for the ability to grow and degrade a broad range of substrates. The extent of biodegradation was evaluated...

Materials Research Group (CMRG) at the University of Mississippi (UM) have recently begun a research study supported by the U. S. Department of Agriculture (NRICSREES-USDA Award number 2003-35504-13627) examining natural fiber reinforcements (NFR). The objectives of this research are to demonstrate the feasibility of using the cost-effective pultrusion process to manufacture high quality polyme...
متن کاملProduction and Evaluation of Biodegradable Composites Based on Polyhydroxybutyrate and Polylactic Acid Reinforced with Short and Long Pulp Fibers
In this study, two biodegradable polymers, polylactic acid (PLA) and polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB), were mixed with short and long fiber pulps using a torque rheometer. PLA/PHB-fiber composites consisting of up to 40 wt% paper pulp were produced through a unique procedure and evaluated using various techniques including thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray dif...
متن کاملProperties of polylactic acid composites reinforced with oil palm biomass microcrystalline cellulose.
In this work, polylactic acid (PLA) composites filled with microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) from oil palm biomass were successfully prepared through solution casting. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy indicates that there are no significant changes in the peak positions, suggesting that incorporation of MCC in PLA did not result in any significant change in chemical structure of P...
